Tour Plan

Entebbe International Airport You will arrive at Entebbe International Airport and will be met by our representative who will transfer you to your booked hotel at Entebbe. Spend the rest of the day at leisure.
Our Safari day starts at 6:00 when your guide picks you up from the Hotel. You will drive for 176km north of Kampala to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino tracking. This is the only place in Uganda where one can find these Short, huge and majestic creatures in the wild. The sanctuary offers a secure place where rhino populations can be increased by breeding, protected from human and non-human predators. They gradually shall be re-introduced into Uganda's national parks. At the same time, we get a chance to track them on foot, view and enjoy them in their Natural wild environment. We will have lunch and later on proceed to Murchison Fall National Park in time to freshen up and have a sumptuous dinner at the lodge.
You will spend the day in the park; game viewing at the northern bank of the Nile and later after Lunch, take a boat cruise from Para to the bottom of the mighty falls- all the time you will be on the lookout for Rothschild Giraffes, elephants, lions, Jackson Hartebeests, Oribis, Waterbucks, to mention but a few. Game viewing along the river is beautiful because it presents a chance to see some of the largest crocodiles left in Africa, hippos, elephants and birds, even the rare shoebill stork, basking on the banks of the Nile. You then hike to the top to view the Uhuru falls and the dramatic Murchison Falls gashing and crashing through a narrow Gorge.
After breakfast, you will have an early morning game drive to see any animals you might have missed before or you could take an optional Nile delta boat cruise, visit the delta circuit, north of the river with its giraffe, lion and Ugandan Kob. As you go with the boat through this section, you will have the opportunity to come across the famous shoebill stork that is the cause for many on safari.
You will start your journey to the primate capital of the world; Kibale Forest National Park. Your journey will take you via Fort Portal City. The drive takes you through a typical Ugandan countryside with children waving after your car, cows grazing along the plains and occasional roadside traders peeping at you. Fort portal rests in the shadow of the fabled ‘Mountains of the Moon’, the Rwenzori Mountains that is famous for her many tea plantations. Following your lunch, you will proceed to your lodge in the late afternoon and if it is a clear day, you will enjoy looking at the beautiful hot orange sunset
Following your early morning breakfast, your driver-guide will take you to Kanyanchu visitors Centre for briefing at 8:00am by the park rangers after which you embark on the trekking in search for the Chimpanzees. Kibale Forest boasts of high counts of habituated chimpanzees with over 95% chances of encountering them. The chimpanzee trekking exposes you to impressive forested landscapes with undulating terrain that presents a rewarding hike. The hour of direct encounter with chimpanzees, seeing them as they patrol, munch leaves or fruits, socialize, young ones playing and make pant hooting calls, creates remarkable memories. Later, embark for the Bigodi Sanctuary for an eco-community walk through the wetland. The walk offers you possible views of counts of birds including the great Blue Turaco and Hornbills. The views of the swamp dwelling animals like Sitatunga may also not be missed. Here you will also encounter the local communities and get to experience their way of life such as how they live, feed, interact, their social economic activities and maybe learn about their history and heritage. You will have a chance to visit different families and groups of people doing different activities such as Banana Juice/beer/gin making, coffee processing, traditional/herbal medicine, basket weaving etc.
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Queen Elizabeth National Park one of Uganda’s Premier Destinations when it comes to wildlife. The journey to the park will be complimented with the fascinating view of the landscapes. Upon arrival, you will check into your lodge, have Lunch. Later prepare for a sunset game drive.
You will wake up early in the morning and go for the game drive in the park, looking for different animal and bird species. This park hosts a variety of wildlife that includes buffaloes, kobs, and elephants, Waterbucks, as well as different bird species. Later in the afternoon after you have had a sumptuous lunch at the lodge and embark for the 2 pm boat cruise on Kazinga channel. The boat cruise at the Kazinga channel takes you through possibly the highest concentration of hippos, crocodile and different bird species. You will also see many elephants and buffaloes drinking at the water’s edges. You will afterwards go for an evening game drive. This will give you an opportunity of meeting different animal species as they come back from their days work. Later you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay
On this day after breakfast, you will transfer to the southerly Ishasha sector, have lunch and relax in preparation for the sunset tree climbing lion game drive as well as many other animal species such as elephants, Topis, buffaloes, Kob and many more. Lately in the evening, you may see the nocturnal animals come out of their hiding spots.
Early morning after breakfast, you will go for a game drive where you may encounter the tree climbing lions as well as many other animal species and appreciate nature at its best. Later during the day, embark on your journey and drive through the countryside to the southerly Part of Uganda to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Upon arrival, you will relax at your lodge as you wait to have dinner and retire to your bed.
Arise early, have breakfast and transfer to the sectoral offices of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park reaching in time for a pre-trek orientation from the park rangers who will tell you what to expect and how to conduct yourself while in the Jungle trekking the gorillas. Trekking through the hilly impenetrable forest of Bwindi and then finally coming across the gorillas cloaked in the foliage is an amazing experience, and indescribable because of the difficulty to paint a verbal picture of the vegetation, terrain, smells, colours and the animated entertainment from the gorillas and other residents of the jungle. Your trek could last anything between 2 to 8 hours. Therefore, your physical stamina and endurance is greatly required for this experience. The trek for the great apes is tiresome but very well rewarded by meeting, spending an hour with and photographing these gentle giants (The mountain  gorillas) as you look straight into their inviting brown eyes. This is a lifetime thrill of a wildlife adventure that only Africa can offer. After your one hour with the gorillas, you return to the starting point or a point recommended by your ranger to have your packed lunch. Having replenished your energy with a meal, you will then embark on your journey back to the starting point to meet your guide who will drive you back to your lodge for relaxation as you wait to have dinner and retire to your bed. Do not leave these items behind; sunscreen, insect repellent, your passport, camera, hiking boots, long safari pants and long sleeved shirts or T-shirt plus a light rain jacket. Please avoid very bright and hot coloured clothes- These not only attract insects to you but can be offensive to the residents of the jungle. These items will come in handy as you go through the thick forest and encounter the unpredictable weather of Bwindi: Expect rain or sunshine anytime.
Have a lazy breakfast and transfer to Lake Mburo National Park. You will check in at your hotel and have lunch. Later on, you will have a night game drive where with luck you may see the Leopard, Elands, Buffalos, Impalas, Kob, Topis, Bushbucks, Waterbucks, Hartebeest and many others. You will later retreat to the hotel.
You will start this day with an early morning guided nature walk for a close-up experience with many animals and bird species found in the park. You will have a sundowner game drive where with luck you may see the elusive Leopard, the Shy Eland (the biggest antelope), Water buffalos, Impalas, Kob, Topis, Bushbucks, waterbucks, Jacksons Hartebeest and many beautiful birds. You will later retreat to the hotel for a good night’s rest.
Following our lazy breakfast, we will embark on our journey to Entebbe. You will have a stopover at the Equator for the Coriolis water experiment showing the magnetic forces at the center of the earth’s surface and photographs and thereafter embark on your journey to Mabamba wetland.
Wake up early, have breakfast and embark for a boat tour in the swamps for the search of the shoebill stork and many other beautiful birds. Depending on the time for your flight, you will be dropped off at the airport.

It is a great place to shop not too far from New York. We took the bus from Port Authority and traveled through the countryside to get there.
